Students are to meet at East High between 7:45 and 8:00 AM on Saturday. Load time is from 8:00 – 8:15. Leaving East at 8:15 AM sharp! Students must bring their own hair and makeup supplies and money for lunch. New this year: There will be a deduction in points if anyone brings in food (other than water) so do not pack a lunch.

Monona Grove Performance Information
Maybe this is only news to me because you follow Rhapsody on Facebook or your child actually communicates things like this to you, but I just checked into this weekend’s Monona Grove Silver Stage Invitational on showchoir.com and there have been drastic changes to the schedule since I last posted. Here is the updated information:

Rhapsody Performance: 4:00 PM
Finals: There are no longer finals at this event. 10 choirs are competing in the Mixed Division from 1:30 PM – 7:00 PM. The host school, Monona Grove, will perform at 7:30. Awards take place at 8:15 PM.

Homestead Classic Showcase 2022
Rhapsody in Red took their show to Fort Wayne, Indiana, last weekend for the 2022 Homestead Classic Showcase. Rhapsody performed at 11:30 AM and if you missed it you can check out the performance here:
Rhapsody competed against 14 other schools in the “Small Mixed” division. Seven schools made the evening finals and while I have no documented proof online, I’ve been told that Rhapsody placed 8th in the daytime preliminary session and missed the finals by a narrow margin. Here are the final standings according to showchoir.com. Congrats to Joey Lehto on being named Most Outstanding Performer in Rhapsody!!!
While everyone was disappointed that there would be no finals appearance, it was an amazing experience for the group getting to compete in a massive competition and spending an entire travel weekend together. As always, the Rhapsody fans couldn’t be more proud of the way they represented themselves and Green Bay East.

Homestead Classic Showcase Performance
In case you missed Rhapsody’s performance at the Homestead Classic Showcase in Fort Wayne, Indiana, here’s your chance:
Unfortunately, Rhapsody was not selected for the finals and did not have a second performance in the evening. I think I can safely say on behalf of all of the Rhapsody family in the auditorium and watching online that we loved your performance and are proud regardless of the scorecards. Keep up the great work!
